団体戦決勝は強豪、近大。2対2で大将同士の決戦となり、土俵際渾身、豪快な右上手投げで日体大に18年振り、3回目の優勝をもたらす活躍をしました。

六十四君の応援に平戸から、猶興館相撲部OBの森 豪さん、米倉智晃さん（共に平成3年卒）、大浦孝一さん（平成11年卒）が、東京支部から亀山弘行さん（昭和35年卒）が会場に駆けつけ声援を送りました。ご苦労様でした。
