猶興館東京同窓会親睦ゴルフコンペ 開催されました

2000年にスタートした大会、今回で第20回のコンペです。
体調を崩して3名の方のキャンセルがあったり、渋滞にはまってぎりぎりの到着の人もいたりとなどのバタバタもありましたが、快晴の暖かい秋日和の中、無事開催できました。
32年卒の毎年参加の大先輩から60年卒の初参加の若手まで、遠くから2，3時間かけて来てくれた人や、自宅の方へ廻って送迎してくれた人など、熱い心、平戸・猶興館魂が溢れる6組21名で実施しました。
優勝は連続参加の37年卒の大先輩S氏、43年卒の初参加のY君が2位。
賞品も帽子・ボール、新米などの寄贈品や、平戸・丸屋からのお取り寄せなど多数集まり、全員がいろいろ貰いました。
運よく隠しホールにはまった人や外れた人、実力でドラコンピアピンを獲った人、優勝予想クイズでご褒美を得た人を見る目がある人、悲喜こもごもの成績発表で盛り上がりました。
プレーとパーティーは車の両輪、参加者全員出身地や近況など自己紹介をしながら新たに知り合った方々とも懇親を深めました。
配布した「ゴルフの良さ」の多くの項目を認識する会でした。
また、会場ゴルフ場の近くだから今年は暫く振りに参加しようかなと楽しみにしていた元幹事長が病気で急逝しましたので、開会式スタート前に全員でご自宅の方向に向かって黙祷を捧げるとともに、早朝よりお出でいただいた現幹事長がご自宅にお伺いして会長他幹事の献花をお届けしました。
奥様から頂いてきたご本人のゴルフ帽子など、35年卒同期のＳ氏に差し上げるとともに、皆で献杯を致しました。お互い健康に留意さて身体が動けるうちはいつまでもゴルフを楽しみましょうと誓い合いました。
いやー、ゴルフっていいなー。同郷人っていいなー。同窓生っていいなー。と改めて感じています。
